Holloway Town London N7

On Sunday 18/11/07 I had to take George to an Audition for the National Youth Theatre in Holloway Road. And on a bitterly cold day, wrapped in a thick sweater and an oilskin, I braved the length of Holloway Road to capture a few of the Holloway signs. Last time I went to Holloway was about 25 years ago with Dad to do a similar photographic shoot.

Most of it, including the famous women's prison, looks just the same. But down a side street is the Emirates Stadium, home to Arsenal Footbal Club. What an amazing sight.

However the thing that smacked my gobs the most was to find two streets named Bowman, right in the middle of Holloway. I wish Dad had seen them. That would have tickled him.
